Key Questions

  • We politely request that no one under the age of 16 attend the reception. There will be lots of drunk adults swinging each other around and we don’t want anyone to get hurt!

  • We highly encourage kilts or other national dress! If you don't have a tartan feel free to pick your favourite, you don't have to be scottish to wear a kilt!
    If you don't fancy a kilt we ask you wear evening attire (but just make sure you can dance in it!)

  • It is a traditional Scottish gathering with lots of dancing! Don't worry if you don't know the moves we will have a caller walking you through all the steps.

  • We have to give the reception venue strict numbers so we ask that you don’t bring any additional people beyond your plus one. (sorry!)

  • There are a number of great hotels in both Kinross and Perth that are super close to the venues. (We recommend the Kirklands or Green Hotels in Kinross)

  • We ask that you don’t have your phone out during the ceremony but feel free to take as many as you like during the reception. (just make sure to send us any good ones!)
